For me, the thing that sets this apart from the prior version is the fix MagSafe money clip.
Besides being a great value, all the components in the MagSafe bundle have a great feel, smooth, precise, and high quality. The flexibility of the add-ons and how well they fit together was also a big plus. I was skeptical at first, but now that I’ve used the wallet and add-ons, it made me a fan. Plus I no longer sit on a “Costanza” wallet, which should help my back!
My one suggestion would be to include a small instruction insert that clarifies how to stack components properly as there is a definite order. Also on the Cardholder Nano, it isn’t apparent that the unit is very tight and almost appears to not accept any cards at first. It definitely takes some manipulation until getting the first few cards in it. That’s a good thing to keep them secure, but a short notification insert with the package would be helpful.
None of these suggestions affect my thoughts of the product itself, for which I’m very satisfied with. This is a top notch product.

After spending several months researching minimalist wallets and comparing different brands, I ultimately decided on Ekster, and I can confidently say they did not disappoint.

The card holder is sleek and durable, the Tracking Card provides valuable peace of mind, and the Cash Clip is both practical and well-made. This bundle came with so much stuff, the cardholder was sturdy, clean, and super satisfying to fan out the cards. The Modular magsafe stuff was also extremely useful. If im not feeling like carrying cash i can leave the cash clip at home and its way less bulky. However, even though it is very useful, I highly recommend not putting the multitool anywhere near the cardholder because it will scratch it and make it loose color. Overall, 10/10 if we ignore user error, would buy again!
The bundle is a great deal offering you the opportunity to mix and match all of the accessories with the mag safe card holder. The functionality and the size of the card holder are great. My only complaint is that the mag safe magnets are not strong enough to keep the card holder affixed to your phone. Wiggling the phone or even putting the combo in your pocket is enough for your card holder to fall off. Once the magnets are upgraded this will be a 5 star product!
I’ve had two prior ekster wallets. The first two, still operable. Flawlessly. I’ve just wanted to upgrade as ekster has launched new products. The MagSafe grabbed my attention. Updated components. Upgraded storage. Plus MagSafe. Meaning no strap which was kind of a pain to deal with. I got the MagSafe money clip and the expandable wallet (forget its name) and both are great. However, the magnet on the expandable wallet is not super strong like the money clip. It’s seems the attachment points are very precise, and doesn’t align very well. Plus the magnets aren’t very strong. Which is a recipe for it detaching easily. It still works great, you just have to be careful. Luckily I don’t to have this attached all the time as it primarily hold my insurance cards, gift cards, and reward cards. Which all are digital these days. But it would be nice if the magnets were better engineered. Still highly recommend. Oh, regarding attachment to the iPhone - just tried it - pretty weak as well.

The Cardholder Pro for MagSafe has a quick-access trigger for fast card access and double-sided MagSafe compatibility. It holds up to 7 cards. The Cardholder Nano functions as an add-on for the Cardholder Pro for MagSafe or as a standalone MagSafe wallet. It holds up to 10 cards and does not have a quick-access button. It's Ekster's most minimalist card holder wallet.
The Cardholder Pro for MagSafe is designed with two different magnetic polarities on either side. The side with the Ekster logo is designed to attach to your iPhone or MagSafe-compatible device. The other side is designed to hold most of Ekster's MagSafe add-ons securely in place. The only exception is that the Tracker Card for MagSafe should attach to the logo side of the Cardholder Pro for MagSafe.
One side has a magnetic polarity that aligns with iPhone and other MagSafe devices. The other side has a different polarity to attach to MagSafe add-ons and accessories. By designing the Cardholder Pro for MagSafe with two different magnets on either side, it lets you snap add-ons on and off with ease while ensuring your wallet stays securely attached to your phone.
