Magnetic Keyring

It has a nice strong magnet, so only separates when you want it to, very handy for leaving the car running and removing other keys that you may need

I lost my Magnetic Keyring, but Ekster was kind enough to replace it for me. I still think the magnet could be stronger, you just need to be a little more careful with it. Still a great product.

I bought this little magnetic keyring as an add-on to the Ekster Keyholder. Initially, my thought was it to swap keys and generally to provide further flexibility. To be honest, I haven't used the extra keyring at all so far. I've only been using one keyring in total. When reviewing the product itself, I must say that the ring feels sturdy, the design, color and form suit the Keyholder seamlessly. The magnetic attaching mechanism feels very elegant, one could argue though, that this provides somewhat of a vulnerability to loosing your keys instead of having no potentially loose component for the sake of comfort. But that's sort of the flaw you know about and agree with before buying it. I own the black version and after a couple of weeks of usage, I have some small scratches revealing the underlying material. I'm not sure if this also happens to the silver version. I would only get an extra one if you wanna be able to exchange your old keyring for a fresh one.
